The lighting project for Palazzo Furietti Carrara stems from a clear principle: subtract to enhance. In a context rich in historical layers and decorative elements, light becomes a discreet tool, capable of accompanying perception without imposing itself.

The project is developed through the use of custom-made floor lamps and track systems with projectors painted to match the supporting surfaces, designed to fully integrate into the architecture. The technical elements blend in, minimizing their visual presence and allowing the spatial quality of the spaces to emerge.

The light distribution is calibrated to emphasize the textures, reliefs, and colors of the frescoes, maintaining a soft and controlled illumination. Along the walkways, the light naturally accompanies movement, while in the main rooms it constructs subtle perceptual hierarchies, without altering the original balance of the spaces.

The result is a lighting system that does not compete with the architecture, but interprets it: an invisible presence that restores depth, clarity, and atmosphere.
