Description
Light for the temporary installation created by Daniel González for Contemporary Locus, "The City Within the City," curated by Paola Tognon at the Monumental Cemetery.A luminous and reflective threshold, made from fragments of #mylar isothermal blankets.Gold, the color of the spirit, faces the city of the living, while silver, the color of life, appears within.
The surfaces, moved by the wind, come alive with flashes and whispers, gently opening up on the austere façade of the Cemetery to transform its perception.
Fluid and welcoming.
The work is an invitation to cross the boundary between visible and invisible, between memory and presence.
The lighting fixtures, equipped with 2700K sources with high color rendering and concentrated elliptical optics, highlight the path to be taken along the steps between the columns and highlight the artwork in its entirety.
