At the Santuario della Madonna di Prada, the lighting design is conceived as a dialogue between light and architecture, where the presence of the luminaires becomes an integral part of the spatial composition.

Light defines and guides the experience: it follows the rhythm of the nave, emphasizes the sequence of arches, and directs the gaze towards the altar, restoring a clear and coherent hierarchy within the space.

At the same time, the project introduces a more intimate and contemplative dimension, bringing attention to pictorial and material details, enhancing surfaces and figures without compromising the overall balance.

The flexibility of the Casambi control system allows for dynamic lighting scenarios, adapting the atmosphere to different uses—from liturgical celebrations to individual, reflective visits.

The result is an environment where light does more than illuminate: it shapes an experience—a sequence of accents, variations, and pauses that guide visitors through an ever-evolving perception of the sacred space.
