The square's lighting design stems from a clear principle: to reduce the presence of technical elements to allow for a better perception of the architecture and landscape.

The project relies on a limited number of poles positioned along the edges, avoiding visual occupation of the central space. The fixtures are precisely oriented to ensure functional uniformity without generating overlighting, maintaining low luminance levels.

The light is designed to be perceived as an effect, not a source: the luminaires disappear into the scene, while the surfaces, paths, and vegetation emerge. Particular attention was paid to glare control and the quality of light distribution.

The lighting thus helps define a clear spatial hierarchy, improving the square's readability in the evening without altering its architectural character. The result is a balance between technical requirements, visual comfort, and respect for the context.
